DONNALLY ARCHITECTS

MAGNOLIA HOUSE | SEATTLE, WA

With the best view of the Olympic Mountains from the original garage door, this mid-century house had a poor layout but great potential. The extensive alterations undertaken included regrading the front yard to move the garage to the daylight basement level, significantly opening up the spaces on the main floor, and adding a new three bedroom upper level. The combination of clapboard siding and blond wood panels on the exterior make the house a friendly neighbor with a fresh contemporary flair.
